Setting your Vanity URL on Facebook

You've made the page, You've told your friends and family to "like" the page, and now you are ready to TELL people your url. Unfortunately facebook urls are not very attractive, with a long list of numbers, symbols, and letters. How can you get a snazzy url, like:
Here are 5 simple steps.
- First, you must have 25 people that LIKE your page. (If you don't, scroll to the bottom and I'll tell you how to get more people to LIKE your page.)
- Visit www.facebook.com/username. Click "Set a username for your pages" You can also set a username for your personal profile here as well.
- Select the page you would like to set the url for. If you have several pages your are the admin for, they will all show up here.
- This page allows you to check the availability of urls for your page. Be careful on this part. Once the url is set, it can not be changed. If you make an error in spelling, you are going to be stuck with it. Please take your time!
- If you desired url is available, CONGRATS, you now have a vanity url! There may be one more button to confirm. If it is not available keep trying until you find one that works. You will not be able to change your url once it is set.
What if you don't have 25 'fan' yet? Ask your friends, co-workers, and family to click that like button. :) Beg, buy them dinner, whatever you have to do.
